Join us for a new workshop on the many challenges and joys of creating fiction.

Hosted by Caleb Mason, who has worked as a bookseller, publisher, and novelist.

Details: It's true, everyone does have a novel in them. It doesn't matter if you're a bus driver, a lobsterman, or a graduate of a prestigious MFA program, we all have unique stories to tell and share. But how best to get started and how best to establish momentum? What are the common pitfalls faced by all novelists, whether established or just starting out?

Caleb will share his knowledge of the creative process in discussing the commonalities shared by all good fiction. Participants will be encouraged to leave each session and return with the beginnings of their new novel, but this is not a requirement. If you simply prefer to discuss the art of fiction, to further your own enjoyment and understanding of what makes for a good novel, that is perfectly fine.
